The Best Care for You and Your Baby
We want the healthiest outcome for you and your baby. The doctors at Northline Women's Health Center provide the best care for pregnancy and delivery in Michigan's Downriver area. We deliver babies at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital, and when needed, we work hand-in-hand with perinatologists who are high-risk specialists.
Northline Women's Health Center is one of the few practices that employ registered nurses who serve as OB Coordinators at each of our locations, so your care is managed by the best medical professionals every step of the way. If you're pregnant or think you may be, please request an appointment as soon as possible. To protect your baby’s health, please do not drink alcohol or use any tobacco products or e-cigarettes.
Prenatal care is important for your health and your baby's health. Your doctor will determine a schedule of prenatal visits that’s right for you, but typically you should plan for:
- One visit per month in Weeks 4 to 28
- One visit every two weeks in Weeks 29 to 36
- One visit every week after Week 36 until delivery.
Your doctor will also schedule blood tests and screenings for genetic conditions or birth defects.
You can use the FREE Text4Baby service to get tips and advice for moms-to-be sent to your cell phone throughout your pregnancy. Text4Baby messages do not count against any limit for text messages or data usage from most cell phone providers.
Northline Women's Health Center can also help with family planning, including hormonal contraception with pills, shots, patches or implants; IUDs; barrier methods; permanent sterilization and natural family planning.
